Application safety software, GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG)
GNU PG treats software as a set of applications and cryptographic hardware of free implementation that does not use the patent algorithm IT DESIGNS, by what it can be used without restrictions. It is compatible with PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) and it expires with the specifications of the RFC2440 (OpenPGP). It is a question of an application of free software and it can be used freely, General GNU distributed and modified under the terms of the Public License.
The first version of this application software was published on September 7, 1999 and the current stable version is 1.4.7.
